Habitat is probably the most important entity that can keeps our quail and dove numbers healthy every year.

There are years when the rain doesn’t fall as much as we had hoped and our bird numbers seem to just keep thriving. We have done this with selective hunting times and brush management.

Our quail density consists of about 50% blues and 50% bobwhites. It is nice to see the two different species of quail flourishing throughout the ranch.
